Does the mail server require authentication? |

Are you trying to run Snitz on a linux server?
Snitz uses ASP/VBScript - which will only run on a Windows/IIS server. |

Looks like it should be fine from a server standpoint, except I only read English so I'm not sure about the details of the e-mail server set up.
Having not used it before I'm only guessing, but phpBB may not need authentication if its using a different e-mail component. See what component you are using and if your hosting package requires you to pass a user name/password. If that is the case, you will need to edit the appropriate information in inc_mail.asp.
I would also double check the mail server address. |

Snitz defaults to ASPmail as the SMTP (Send Mail To People) server component, you can change this from the Admin/E-mail Setup page. Also, you will need to put in the URL of your providers outgoing mail server, typically smtp.yourProvider.com, on the Email setup page as well.

I always call SMTP "Send Mail To People" because it's easy to remember and to say when on the phone helping someone configure e-mail, it will be for you now too ;-}
