In your source code there is an h right before the <html> tag. One of the files you edited must have a rogue h in it. It's not inc_header.asp. Could you post a copy of your config.asp file? Before you do that, change the path of your database for your protection.

I don't see it in config.asp either. What other files did you edit?

post.asp, admin_home.asp, inc_header.asp, default.asp, and some of the files associated with prodeur's file attachment mod.

Those other files don't seem to be the culprit. Of the files you mentioned, only inc_header.asp and config.asp effect all pages of your site. Maybe someone else could look at your files you posted and see if I missed it.

Ok, here is what I noticed.

You said this is a brand new forum, but when I took a look at your inc_header.asp file, I see you are using an old version of inc_header.asp. The inc_header.asp file you are using is from a 3.4.04 version. The latest version is 3.4.07.

If you are adding mods to your files, you need to add the code changes to your files, not overwrite your entire file. The files in the mods might be much older than your forum files and can cause problems (like this mysterious h).

Soo, I suggest you get a fresh copy of inc_header.asp from the latest version, and then add the mod code to your file.

I hope you didn't overwrite any other files in your forum?

Only other file to check would be inc_func_common.asp, if overwriting inc_header.asp with a clean copy doesn't work.

Unless it's in "inc_adovbs.asp"

That would be the last place to check as no mod or anyone normally edit that file.

If I may:
I've seen wierd things like this, if I recall, from not closing a cell tag or something outside of one. standard or header cells, I don't know.
Being also in the pop-ups is a clue is it not, Watson?

May also want to check your language file(s), for example: "langMODS_Ls3kAU4.asp"

Zofobill, look at the top line of each file, the odds are good the h will be in front of the <%.

He isn't using any language mods carefree. So can rule out language files.

Zofobill hasn't been back.
