I fixed this tag. I had a stupid typo that I kept overlooking.

Now for the annoying error in IE 8...

Well, I would have suggested you just ignore IE 8 error for now, since it doesn't seem to be stopping your tags from working properly. Hopefully you can undo any changes you made to try and prevent the javascript error in IE 8.

I may just have to do that. I wish it told me what object was missing.

function __flash__removeCallback(instance, name) {
instance[name] = null;
}

If it knew, would it still be missing?

I know, not helping... but I've been in a smart-ass kind of mood lately. Sorry.

Thanks HuwR! That certainly helps pinpoint my problem! According to that, it has something to do with the player I am using to play the files. My new tags are using that player to play them. I'll go to the developers site to see what I can find out.

You guys are awesome!

Thanks everyone for looking into this for me! With your help I think I fixed it! If you have time to see if it still has the error, let me know. Otherwise the error should not appear anymore.

You should no longer see the error in IE 8.

Phew!

So you really gonna leave us hanging and not tell us how the story ended? Garsh, you're mean.

Well, the story ends by the error being fixed.

The code I was working with was not Snitz related. It was how I was implementing the code for the player I was using for my new tags.

Since it was code from another site, I posted my fix there. You can see it at the bottom of this thread:

http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/forum/Bug-Reports/9709/Javascript-error-with-embed

Thanks to HuwR I was able to know what was causing the problem. Also thanks to everyone here for there advice and efforts. I would never have gotten it without you guys!

By the way, if anyone is interested in the tags I'm using on this page let me know and I'll give you the code and files.

I've just implemented a YouTube Playlist tag. All you have to do is insert the playlist number into the tag and it will embed and play the playlist in your post. It's now on my test page above.
