Having searched through this forum, I can not find any reference on how to move the last post of a thread to another existing thread. I am aware of the 'spilt topic' mod which will separate posts into a new thread, but I would prefer to move certain posts so subject matter can be kept the in the same topics. Any ideas pse |

What you want is the "Merge Topic" mod. |

Looking at the Merge Topic mod download, I notice to date there still is still no readme/instruction file for installation. With anticipation, as it is still beta, I compared the files provided with my forum files and notice the Merge Mod scripts are inserted in the same location as the Split Topic Mod. It looks like these two mods are very very similar. Having the Spilit Topic Mod already installed, I am confused on how to add the merge mod as well. Probably get into to many if-then statement problems. Has anyone else installed both these two mods with no problems? |

I think the topic.asp should be straight forward to modify, but I am wondering how to accommodate the two mods in inc-_post_info.asp seeing as they [Spilt and merge topic mods] have similiar text.. |
