They're correct about us using some of their products

If you need a site-level forum, with many features, administration, and support, I recommend Snitz Forums. Their site is powered by TableEditoR and StatCounteX ;)

Are you using tableeditor here? This would be a VERY cool piece of functionality to incorporate into the forum. Would make maintenance so much easier (at least for those of use unafraid of doing table maintenance...)

Why incorporate ? You mean so it uses accounts of the admin-users of the forums instead of its own username/password thing ?
Otherwise using it is very easy the way it is now. It works great in combination with the SQL Server here. I just needed to change one line in the config file to make use SQL Server instead of an Access database.

The StatCounteX script needed a bit tweeking for our security needs here also, I added the admin-check to the config file (and gave count.asp its own copy of the config file without that check) and added a curstom admin_logon file, so only administrators have access to the statistics pages. I noticed that a lot of the referrer info in our logs came from other statistics pages because people there did the same as I did: look at the referrers and then click on the link.
