I am at a loss and have had to shut down my forums. They were just flooded with spam.
The message area of the topic just has one word "MESSAGE"
Each user is different, each IP is different.

I have the forum set to both email verification and restrict registration. I also have gatekeeper on there. None of them work.

Some how this bot seams to be inserting directly into the database.
I am getting 100s every hour.

How do I stop this ???? Please help, I can't use my forums at all anymore.

What version of the forum do you have installed? What MODs are you using (with links)?

I need to do some updating/cleanup, but have you checked these posts?

Oh, and please skip the all-caps title... I was wondering if we'd had a "MASSIVE AUTOMATED SPAM ATTACK"

Is the spam posted under valid user names?

Is it possible someone guessed your db name and are writing to it directly, thus spoofing the IP's? Is it even possible? I'm new and haven't taken the time to look under the hood too much yet.

Snitz 3.4.07 hasn't any vulnerbilities that haven't been fixed. If you have patched your forum, by applying our security fixes, you should be ok.
