I have no mods so this should be pretty easier. I think these are the steps but could someone verify this.

1. Backup everything.

2. copy in the new v3.4.07 files

3. Run setup.asp

4. If you made any additions such as meta tages or images in the v3.4.06 code make sure your edits are still there if not put them back in.

This procedure is a guess...looking for any additional guidance. I plan to upgrade this weekend.

Thanks!!

The readme file provides one more advice or two that can be helpful.

Hi

I confess to being a techno bimbo.

I've read the "read me" file and I'm confused.
I've downloaded a copy of the forum to an external hard-drive (does that count as backing up?)

Do I upload the new files to overwrite the existing files?
or is it a completely new program?

Then run setup.asp.

Sorry

yes, that is exactly what you do, but don't forget to edit config.asp with your database connection details
