I'm not sure if that is the right name for this or this forum is the right place, but....
I am working on a complete revamp for my site, which includes the look of the forums... My problem is, your logo does not match the design of my site. The logo that I am talking about is the one at the bottom. I know that it's small and largely unnoticed, but that would bug me, lol, OCD a bit, lol. So my question is: Would it be okay if I replaced that logo with another one, that still says Snitz Forums 2000 and is still a link pointing to this site, but that would better blend in with the rest of my site. I don't want it completely blended in so no one can see it, but I also don't want it to "stick out like a sore thumb" lol. If you already have one that may work, here's a link to the preview I've released of the revamp:
Zim's Gizmos Site Revamp
I just don't want to risk any copyright issues or anything
P.S. I'm not sure how I should make the footer on my site look, so if any of you want to vote on it, it would be greatly appreciated (I have the polls MOD installed on the forums, you'll see what I'm talking about at the right of the page on that link). |

you can set it to just use a text link rather than the image in admin options |

You have a couple of options. Firstly, as Huw has already pointed out, you can just switch it to a text link in your admin options. If you want to use the image but don't like how the aliasing looks on a dark background, you can try using one of the alternatives found in the tools.zip archive. Your final option is as you suggested, make your own image; as long as it clearly and legibly states "powered by Snitz Forums 2000", you'll be OK.
As an example, here's one of my old ones:

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |
