Well, if that's what I think it was, your account was hacked. Something people should think about before joining the forum owned by a guy who hacks people's accounts!
Regarding the backup, you can do it using phpMyAdmin. Never used it much, but I think there is an option for that, or for exporting your database as SQL statements. You should include data and structure. |

Yep, I think it was hacked, anyway deleted and password changed, not sure what phpMyAdmin is, any pointers to it? Also I joined his forum a long time ago, only visited it once or twice, it never took me long to work out that this is the place to be for snitz |

Sorry, I have used PhpMyAdmin just a couple times, so I really don't remember it. I have used SQLYog instead, which is much simpler. SQLYog has a free version and I think you probably can use it, as the free version will allow you to backup the database, if your host allows outside connections to the server. Do you know if they do?
If you want to, email me the Db server details (server, username, password, database) and I wil have a quick look, backup the database for you and provide a link to a zipped backup version. If I can do it, means that you will also be able to do it, using the free version and you can start do it regularly. |
