Is it possible to ban a domain, ie: @myemail.com using ipgate?
If I put the info in under username will it effect the desired ban?
if not is there another mod that will allow me to do this without going into register.asp etc and edit the code(s).

Thanks in advance

Well Ip Gate is to block visitors by IP, I assume you want to reject new users that try to use specific email domains?

If so, there's a mod floating around called "spamserver lock" or similar that I've installed and it works to block email domains.

There is a different MOD to block e-mail domains, a search should turn it up, and I think its linked to in the "Fighting Spam" topic.

As a side note, its been integrated into 3.4.07 which is in its more or less final form. You can download it from the Snitz page at sourceforge.net. If you haven't added any other MODs, or made any other code changes outside of editing config.asp to point to the database etc., then I would recommend upgrading to 3.4.07.

As far as I can tell the only problem is with the database that comes with the .zip - but that's only an issue for clean installs. Davio is putting the final touches on the writeup and the changelog, etc. before we post it up on the main Snitz site.

That you both.
AnonJr- unfortunately I am heavily mod'ed

I found the spamserver lock mod and just installed it.
I do wish it would throw a ban cookie out
hopefully someone will add that function to it.
