I've tried the bug reporter Mod without changing inc_header.asp, so nothing changed yet. Thought it could be useful with all the modifications I've applied. You can't test everything yourself.
But the bur reporter itself gives an error:
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e37'
Could not find output table 'FORUM_PM'.
/forum/bug_reporter_send.asp, line 96
Sending an PM to a poster directly from a topic works fine.
Does this Mod require the Private Mail Mod? It's nog mentioned in the read me and it should work in an unmodified forum, so it looks as if that PM mod is not needed.
Is it maybe that the link in the header is more than just a link and tells the server where to look for the database? Now I addressed bug_reporter.asp directly. Nope, tested that.< |

Read the "readme" file again. The description of the "bug_reporter_send.asp" file says:quote: Sends bug reports via PM to Administrator
It can be modified to use EMail, provided that the server has EMail turned on and properly configured.< |

Sorry, didn't read that as if you needed the PM Mod as well since the readme is also about unmodified forums and contains ready to use files. Since the forum can sent mail directly to a poster from a topic, I thought it was that sort PM that the bug reported used. I saw the PM mod as a mod to sent directly to other users without using an external mail server. My mistake.
Well, one more mod to go...... Or, since I didn't see a mod add on for this Mod, is the modification you mention floating around somewhere or is it DIY?
Thanks.< |

That's where I get my Mods. ;-)
You mean MakeMail? Never mind, I'll add the PM Mod. The versions I find are for 3.4.05, but I assume it will work for 3.4.06 as well.< |

Indeed line numbers completely different, thanks to the "search" function. Works like clockwork. I like espacially the graphics.
Found 2 bugs in the read me, at least of 1 I'm sure. The part of modding active_users is double and I thought it was the mod for: strsql = strsql & ", " & strMemberTablePrefix & "MEMBERS.M_DATE",
I had that line twice in the file, so I changed them both. < |
