Is there a way to keep the forums from removing extra spacing in posts. On my sight we often post tables and when the extra spaces are removed it makes them hard to read.

here is an example

NAME CST WT SIZE TYP DMG CRITICAL
Arqebus 500 10 M P 1d10 10
Blunderbus 500 12 M P 1d4 X
Caviler 450 11 M P 1d8 8
Musket 800 20 M P 1d12 12

Ribald 1200 80 L P 1d4 X
Bombard 20000 2000 H P 2d20 20

There should be 4 or 5 spaces between each column<

Use tabs instead of spaces and place the text between code tags
NAME CST WT SIZE TYP DMG CRITICAL

Blunderbus 500 12 M P 1d4 X

If you put it in the code tags it preserves the spaces.

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

You should use a table tag and display your information that way then it will always be aligned.

Here is a post on how to do that:
