I am getting an internal 500 error when I try to edit a profile as an admin or modify my personal profile on a normal account.

I have the same files and everything on my local machine working just fine. The only difference is I am using SQL 2005 on the server and access on my local machine.

I feel dumb I cannot track this down but I just am going nuts now.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

There is 1 other error and it is with the pop_email.asp not showing up. I know all files are there.

Thanks<

I think you're using asp.net instead of asp on the server, and there is a component specific to your profile page that cannot be rendered.

Please supply a link to your "pop_profile.asp" in .txt format for us to look at. Maybe we can spot the culprit.<

You got it. I am on a Godaddy Windows IIS 7 server. Never had this issue before so not sure why I would now.

Thanks I am at my wits end on this one.<

There's nothing in the pop_profile page that would cause this. How about a link to the inc_profile in .txt?<

Actually it can be anything. If server does not allow error messages, going line by line would be royal pain...<

JJ...

How about the 'divide and conquer' approach?? Strip the ASP page down to 'bare bones' -- like containing just the goEdit case. See if page errors. Add more 'original' code/sections until page errors... You might be able to isolate the problem that way.

Well, I'm baffled - there's nothing in either file which could be causing it.<
