I got an SQL injection into my database and have cleaned it up but I still can't get into the forums. I get the following error message:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e4d'

Login failed for user 'steveblv'.

/forums/inc_header.asp, line 111

This is line 111: my_Conn.Open strConnString

Can anyone help me fix this?<

What database are you using? What SQL injection attack was used?

Also, that error is a login error for the database, not the forum. Was your database password changed?<

Yes the password was changed. I can't find where to put the new password in. I don't see where the variable strConnString is being created.<

Hello,

I have the same error but I did not change any passwords or settings. Could it be a change on the server side?

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e4d'

Login failed for user 'username'.

You should contact your hosting provider to find out what happened.
