A few months ago, our Web site was moved to another "better" server at our hosting company. I keep finding little problems, like the fact that the forum subscription feature no longer seems to be notifying members (at least me)of new postings. The ISP has verfied that the proper choice for "Select E-mail Component" in the E-mail server configuration is CDOSYS (IIS 5/5 1/6), my E-mail server address and admin name. Yet I don't seem to be getting E-mail notices of new postings. I use Spamarrest, which does not allow E-mails from my own address through the filter but I check the filtered emails daily and have found no emails from my forums lingering there. The forum is at www.gayrites.net/forum
Did and and that didn't fix the problem. I think I've sparked the imagination of the tech support people at my host with all of these responses, however, and they are giving it the old college try again.

Hi David,
Have you tried clicking on "Check Installation" in the Admin Section? Perhaps that will help.
I'm lost. The tech guy is making coding changes but the result is a new dialogue box requesting a UID and password just to open the forum. I'm still on the phone even as we speak and he seems to be interested in solving it ... if he doesn't, I may be screwed ...

Is email working for other parts of the forum ? Do the mail server logs show anything ?
