I was under the impression that when a post is made to a moderated forum, the moderator is sent an email stating that a post has been made (at which time they can go to the forum and approve or reject the post).
This doesn't seem to be happening. Was my understanding incorrect? I've searched through the forums and documentation and I know that the forums I'm working with have email server info and moderating set up correctly.
Can someone please let me know if I've missed something?
In a stock installation no e-mail is sent to the moderator if a post is made to a moderated forum. I know there was some discussion about that, and there may even be some code floating around here to do that. Some quality time with ye ole search should turn it up if its around.<
Your understanding is not correct, regarding email notification. It won't happen unless you enable subscriptions and subscribe to the moderated forum.<
