Hey,
Don't have much cash yet but I would be willing to give anyone $25 via paypal that can get my files ready for upload for the PM mod(with messenger window that comes up & etc), Captcha code mod, and Spell check mod. This would be a life saver.

Most of what you ask for is in the 5-in-1 mod available on Snitzbitz.
I recommend that you try out the ready made mods and donate your $25. to Snitz Forums and/or Snitzbitz.

Thanks for the input however, when I installed the already made PM Mod. I just changed the config file w/ my user, pass, and mysql info in your already made file, uploaded it with the rest of the icons and files in that and the forum went offline. I have been having this problem quite often when I upload mods. Any ideas how this might be happening? If you click my sig link you will see it is offline.

/forum/inc_header.asp, line 314
The include file 'inc_site_header.asp' was not found.
thsi means that the file spcified hasnt been uploaded.
that file is apart of the site intergration mod, so u will need to upload that file to the forum firectory which will make the forums work, unless you have more problems.
did u try my file that i put up for u?

anyway, what u have done is u havent ran the pm update script before uplaodign the files
so what u need to do is upload the standard snitz file then run the dbs_ script to update the dataabse then uplaod my files in that zip
read the readme in the zip it will tell u what to do
any more problems give me a shout< |

Couple quick questions here is you are still on.
Here is an image link I created for you here

In this link, box #1 as you notice the x's on both sides of the pop up message alert box suggests that an image is not showing up. Do you know how to fix this? Also in box #2 the images in the PM message center all show up like yahoo icon etc but there is one image in the icon tray that does not show up and when I click the missing image an error comes up that says this...
"error '80020009'
/forum/inc_func_common.asp, line 287"
Any ideas here?
Also, is there an easier way to do the spell check mod addon too?
I also noticed that Panhandler had some cool add ons like register page that tells others that they may get emails and the email addon. Any easy way to get these on there as they are pre-made without overriding what I just did?
Don't want to overwhelm you here so just one more thing please. My email confirmation link to others during tests does not get sent ever. This will kill me to manually approve everyone. Any ideas on why this is not working. I thought my settings were OK.

right then.
the reason the images dotn show up is probly because u havent uploaded the images into the correct image folder that u have specifiyed in the admin options.
in my "Mod Files" folder there is an image folder, u will need to uplaod the images inside to the same place as where all your other images are stored.
im not to sure about that error in inc_func_common as im not sure where u r getting this error.
as for mods, the spellcheck mod is so simple, its liek 1 or 2 changes to post.asp and uploading of some files just make backups of what u have now and u cant go wrong really.
as for the mod by panhandeler, im not sure about these mods that u r on about.
and as for the email validation email thingy u will need to post a new topic abotu that as i cannot help u on that subject.
also can u setup a test account on your site, might be able to help a bit more< |

ok..that error u get when pressing that image is to do with icq and because they changed the way that you get the users online status the code must be old. i will see if i can find the changes tomorrow, should be to hard.
as for the welcome pm message, there is a mod to do it knocking aroudn somwhere, but it isnt a standard feature.
again i will ahve a look for it tomorrow for u< |
