Hi all,
I have the topic maker mod, which is great for making pages for Google, etc... BUT on Google Webmaster, im getting the following:
URLs not followed When we tested a sample of the URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs were not accessible to Googlebot because they contained too many redirects. Please change the URLs in your Sitemap that redirect and replace them with the destination URL (the redirect target). All valid URLs will still be submitted.
So... is it possible to make a mod to the Topic Maker so that it doesnt include the redirect as to not alienate Google? Maybe just a 'Click here to access the forum...' link instead of the redirect?
Can this be done, and if so, can anyone hellp me out with this??
many thanks in advance... < |

Archived topics are probably the problem, the active url is still in the sitemap, but the topic is archived. Creates tons of redirects.< |

yes, this is exactly the problem, i am looking at a way for the topic maker to create the pages without the redirects so that if i run the topic maker again, it will overwrite the exiting ones with the redirects with pages without them and maybe just a ´click here to access the forum...´link instead...
thanks < |
