Well here goes nothing.
I've got some background with installing, using, and modifying UBB.[ugh] I also have dabbled in ASP and database design.
My goal is to create a totaly DB driven web community, and from what I have seen here the past few months I can do it with Snitz. So I wanted to post my progress as it happens.
Step 1: Found a testing area. Actually advertised on this forum. http://www.121host.net/sub_domain.htm
I wondered if anybody here has used them yet?
Step 2: Found a reliable host. At a good price. http://www.readyhosting.com/ Again, I wondered if anybody here has used them yet?
Step 3: Decided to download the Snitz files, and am currently printing the installation instructions along with some important tips from this forum.
Step 4: Decided on http://www.ultraedit.com as my editor of choice, unless some one has a better one to suggest.
Step 5: Making a list of MOD's to include on my test area.
I think that is a full days work right there.
If anybody has any experiences to share that would make this easier now would be a good time. 
I will keep you posted and I am sure I will have lots of questions. Thanks for the great product and support and I look forward to being a contributing member of this outstanding forum.
