When trying to update my forum counts I get part way through 'Step 2 of 5' and then lock up
Despite trying it on quiet periods (hard to find lol) it doesn't make any difference
It is a very busy forum and website, runs with MySql dbs and resides on its own Windoze2003 server which is fully updated IIS6.0

Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?

What MySQL version are you using?

You can try running this SQL script: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=61685

Updates counts using SQL and I have never seen it timeout.

Great stuff, it worked a treat

(Took a while to reply to you though as my Mouse batteries died - have you ever tried to find two batteries when you need them lol ?)

Thanks, code saved for future use

That's why none of my remote controls work any more - I always raid them first ;-)
