Following on from http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=42436
Having got the User status to work satisfactorily within the Author column of the topic.asp page.
Could this same procedure be adapted to include a 'status line' on privateread.asp which is part of the PM mod?
ie show the status below the xx Posts of the author column

any thoughts?

In privateread.asp look for:

" <font color=""" & strForumFontColor & """ face=""" & strDefaultFontFace & """ size=""" & strFooterFontSize & """>" & strMPosts & " Posts</font></p></td>" & vbNewLine & _

Remove the part in green and replace it with <br />

Then add this under that line:

" <font color=""" & strForumFontColor & """ face=""" & strDefaultFontFace & """ size=""" & strFooterFontSize & """><small>Status: "& AUMemberStatus(arrOnlineMembers, TMember_ID) &"</small></font></p></td>" & vbNewLine & _

The above wasn't quite right.

Here are the correct instructions:

In privateread.asp look for:

" <font color=""" & strForumFontColor & """ face=""" & strDefaultFontFace & """ size=""" & strFooterFontSize & """>" & strMPosts & " Posts</font></p></td><br />" & vbNewLine & _

Remove the part in green and add the part in red.

Then under that add this:

" <font color=""" & strForumFontColor & """ face=""" & strDefaultFontFace & """ size=""" & strFooterFontSize & """><small>Status: "& AUMemberStatus(arrOnlineMembers, strMID) &"</small></font></p></td>" & vbNewLine & _

Then look for the first instance of my_conn.Execute (strSql) (about line 53) and add this above that:

'## Get online users into an array
arrOnlineMembers = AUGetOnlineMembers()
'## end
