I have noticed this because a site have a contest and the link to vote is in this format:
http://premiowww[dot]ilsole24ore.com/regolamento.php

but it's impossible to insert this link:
not directly
http://premiowww.ilsole24ore.com/regolamento.php

nor with url tag

try this fix

open inc_func_common and look for this line in the formatstr function

fString = ChkURLs(fString, "www.", 3)

change it to this
fString = ChkURLs(fString, " www.", 3)

basically what was happening was the chkurls function was parsing the url twice which is what broke the resulting url<

It also fixed this issue on my forums...

This would link to www.coinlink.com before the fix. Surely comes up sometimes.
