Glad it's working for you. My schedule should be calming down in the next few weeks (working at a university, you're sort of tied to the semesters), so I am hoping to finally make good on my promise to go back through this MOD and update it with everything I missed.< |

It looks like pop_lock.asp is also affected by this MOD. Bill - or anyone - what code changes might be necessary on this? A generic 3.4.05 file ...< |

I just got back from a week out of town, so I will be catching up on some backlog at work. However, I'll take a peek at this later this week (definitely by the weekend).
Thanks for the heads up.< |

Here is a link to my pop_lock text file: pop_lock.txt --> This file now contains appropriate changes
Kind of important, as I can not lock any topics or members.
Edit--> Just found that I can lock a thread by using the "Lock this Thread after posting" option. So, if I post and lock at the same time, all is well. It is only when I try to simply lock that I encounter an error [No permissions].< |

I finally decided [read: got brave enough] to try to resolve this myself.
WOO-HOOO! I did it!
Using the code supplied by muzishun for my pop_delete file [posted on May 7, 2008 in this thread], I was able - after a little trial and error, to fix both pop_lock and pop_open so that they fully work with the Password Salting MOD. I can now lock/unlock members, threads, forums, and categories ... FINALLY!
Clearly, this MOD needs to be repackaged by someone who knows what they are doing [preferably muzishun - but since he's been MIA of late, maybe someone else] because, as is, it does cause some problems for a moderator or administrator. However, it is a great MOD once all the required files are adjusted to reflect the database changes this MOD necessarily makes.< |

Well, here are the 2 files in their entirety if anyone would care to look/package the MOD/use them.
MODDED pop_open.asp
MODDED pop_lock.asp
Hope that assists in some small way.< |

Could anyone assist me in making pop_admin_moderators.asp compatible with the Password Salting MOD? Having a heck of a time!!
Here is a link to my pop_admin_moderators: pop_admin_moderators
As of right now, I get the "Login Failed" message. [Line 43] |
