Hey all,

Okay, first all the necessary data:

Version 3.4.06
database type ???
strConnString ???
host interland
url www.cameldive.com/forum

We got hacked but I managed to remove the junk including a new "member" who had administrator as member type. Please note, I managed to delete this member BEFORE I installed the patch.

Then a few days later I found the patch here and installed it. Followed instructions on this page: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=66113
Dug around and found ANOTHER new member who had admin status but I cannot delete him/her. I have tried everything: editing/deleting/locking the member. Impossible. Now I need your expert help please!

Are you logged in as the Super Admin? (i.e. the account you created when you first set up the forum?)

I had the same problem a week ago, I ended up shutting down that forum.

Problem solved.
I am embarrassed to say I changed password in sheer panic a few days ago and was using the old password to try and delete this person.
He or she is now GONE!

Same exact thing happened to me. I installed the patch from last month and I think it fixed it.

The hacker gave himself admin privileges and changed a few things, but surprisingly didn't delete anything. I was happily surprised. A polite hacker?
