Dear all,
at last I could get an asp script to do what I need: to archive old messages.
It does this selecting posts older than a given date, copying them in a backup database , and deleting them from the original.
It also make an output of the old messages sorted for category and date as a text file with only author, subject and date of posting.
I hope that it might be of some use for you Snitz lovers.
I have now the right code, it WORKS also for big dbase. If you need it, you can e-mail me, at neri@bdp.it

FYI, the next release of Snitz Forums 2000 will have a full Archival system integrated.
