If you search around this specific forum, you will see that MySQL migration is something that can be problematic enough for me not to be able to recommend a single approach that will always guarantee good results. Among the things that almost never worked for me, was that migration toolkit. I've long since stopped using it. What's more, it won't be able to create the tables properly, so you will have either immediate or future problems. That error, though, seems to be associated with table data - and when that happened I always needed to use something else. Exporting the data directly from Access to a MySQL DB, through an ODBC data source is the sure way to overcome data errors during a MySQL migration process. |
