Hi,
We installed the security fix of December 4, but the hacker this was intended to stop broke in anyway and set himself up as an admin. He then added some code to the jpeg file and managed to redirect the entire forum... every page, to a website in Turkey. We got rid of it by downloading the entire database and removing the code. We're running version 3.4.03, so we are a little behind in our updates. |

Definitely. If you don't have any MODs installed on your forum, I would recommend downloading the full zip file from the main Snitz site and overwriting your current forum files with the new ones. Don't forget to add your database info in config.asp, though.
If you have MODs installed, it'll be a bit more complicated, but simply going through the Bug Reports forum here and looking at bugs that have been fixed since 3.4.03 would be a good place to start. |
