Can you post your line 372 in your post_info.asp file?
Do you have a link we can look at?

Line 372 is

end if

If I comment line 372 out the error goes away and I can post fine until I try to edit a message. Then I get the following error message:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'TOPIC_ID = 2 WHERE FORUM_ID = 1'.

/snitz/post_info.asp, line 338

I have reinstalled the original post_info.asp file now and I'm back to the original error message.

Here's the web site:

could you e-mail me your post_info.asp file?

My e-mail address is: richard_kinser@yahoo.com

Something must be getting messed up with it.

Did you use FTP to upload your files to your webhost? (or is the server local to you?)

If you used FTP, did you make sure to use ASCII upload and not BINARY upload?

I haven't seen this error reported here before, so it just seems a little strange.

The file you sent me had some carriage returns missing so some of the lines of code were up on other lines when they shouldn't be. Glad you got it working
