We've experienced a few major problems with the website today - firstly a hardware problem with the power supply, and then the cpu locked up with 100% of resources being used, and finally once that was sorted the website came back on line but the forums were reporting the following error when trying to view them:

quote:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e37'

[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-4.0.26-nt]Can't open file: 'forum_active_users.MYI'. (errno: 145)

/forum/inc_func_common.asp, line 155

I've overwritten the inc_header.asp file with a backup that doesn't reference the Active Users and that enabled the forums to be viewed, but we've now got a black table with the error:

quote:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e37'
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-4.0.26-nt]Can't open file: 'forum_active_users.MYI'. (errno: 145)

/forum/inc_func_common.asp, line 253

showiwing in default.asp

Until this everything was working fine, and all recent fixes have been put in place.
Apart from uninstalling the Active Users, is there something else I need to look at?

(Mods: I haven't posted this in the 'Help: MOD Implementation' forum because until today everything has been working well, and the Active Users has been installed for at least ten months)

That's a MySQL issue. You will need to run a repair on that table.

Okay, update:

It's all working fine now as it appears that the one of the tables in the database had become corrupted

Strange though
