Hello, I am creating a website based on frames. Basically the structure is the following:

Small frame on left for menu, bigger frame on right for banner+other frame which is inside it with fixed height and width.

I'd want that when you click on a button, the frame inside a frame (wow, that's weird to say) changes to a certain page only that frame does someone know how to?

Like http://phy1729.googlepages.com/frames.html ?

Note to self: When testing turn off ad block if the page contains the word ad.

You may want to re-think your ultimate goal... I suspect that there is an easier way of doing things - and probably without frames and all that goes with them.

I would have to agree with Anon Frames are alot harder to work with in most cases.

Frames will also pretty much scupper anyone trying to use your site from a PDA or similar too - if you can do it without frames, do it without them!

Frames are dead! They were evil anyway!

Nowadays, you can easily achieve the same effects with CSS.

But if you absolutely must...then you need to use target= and named frames. But there's a reason they were abandoned ;-)

There is no "if you must" - they were abandoned for more than just "a" reason....

Agreed. Frames should be avoided at *all* costs.
