Does anyone have access to a document that spells out the minimal level of permission that you need to set on a MYSQL database to allow Snitz to be set up by an admin, and to allow users to register, log in, and use the forum? I don't feel comfortable giving "everyone" full access to the database.

Thanks
Rog

I don't know of any particular document, but the forum will need to be able to create/edit tables as well as add/edit/delete information.

I assume that people enter the web site using the Windows guest account - IUSR_Computername. These users then register in SNITZ to access the forum. Which users do I give permission to in MYSQL - the Inet Guest Account from Windows or a username that was registered in SNITZ?

Thanks

Rog

You will set up an account for Snitz on your MySQL Server and enter the info for that user in config.asp in the connection string.
