Hi! I am the administrator for our forum and would like to know if it is possible to access passwords so that I can help members when they have forgotten theirs.

You can't directly access the passwords, but as the admin, I believe you can reset a user's password if they've forgotten it. Users can also click the link under the login box that says "Forgot your password?" and go through the process themselves.

the reason is that all passwords are stored using one way encryption and therefore can not be accessed.
