I have the latest version of Snitz (just downloaded within the last 5 days). It is setup on a WIN 2003 R2 x64 server. The server also runs Exchange 2007. All websites and email are functioning correctly(at least 6 domains host a website and have email on this server). I also have a x64 version of ASPEmail installed on the server, and it appears to work correctly for other sites hosted on the server. However, when I enter the mail server configuration page, the No compatible component message is my only option in the first field. Why not my exchange server or the ASPEmail app? Any guidance is appreciated. |

We use ASPEmail which is by a company called persits software. It is the only thing used for mail other than exchange. This is my first attempt at using this software, so I am in completely uncharted water. I didnt mean to make it sound as if the forum was working elsewhere, I merely wanted to convey that IIS and my mail server appear to be working correctly. |

One thing to try is to see if you can run the sample scripts that come with ASPEmail - it'll establish whether the problem is with the forum software, or ASPEmail on your server. If it does, but not with the Snitz forum, I can only imagine it's to do with changes to the 64-bit version compared with the legacy versions Snitz was planned for. Could you try using CDOSYS instead in that case? |

Hate to seem like a newbie, but as I am a server admin guy, I don't have much in the way of developer skills. I've looked at CDOSYS, but I don't know how to make it available to the app. |
