Hey mate, that kind of stuff is all client-side and 98% of the time it's flash.
Without a doubt, the cheapest thing to do would be to ask buildasign if you can license theirs if your client isn't in direct competition with them (eg one takes the US, the other Canada/world, etc), or even to talk franchising.
It would chop you out of the loop somewhat, but custom-building something like this but decent is one serious job, many many thousands of dollars worth of work (plus all the back-end to support it, the application support, application enhancements, etc). Hey, at MS we'd always price up a buy-in even if we could write something in-house as all those extra testing/integration/etc costs add right up! |
