This is a dumb question, but by "match" you mean that I have the correct password associated with that e-mail account, right? Or do you mean that the password has the be "admin" if the e-mail account is "admin"?
And I don't believe mine is a forwarding account. I created my primary (25MB) e-mail account, and then I created this account which is supposed to have 10MB of storage. |

Thanks a lot for the help Marshal. I couldn't get stmpout.secureserver.net to work for some reason, so I e-mailed GoDaddy, and they told me to use : relay-hosting.secureserver.net
That got it to work. Thanks again for your help. :) |

I don't have GoDaddy. But I have Jackpot Hosting and they seem to be nearly identical. They also use 'smtpout.secureserver.net' and require an SMTP relay for outgoing mail.
But when I set up the forum, I simply used mail.mydomain.com and everything works fine. I also tried 'smtpout.secureserver.net' and that works too. But I didn't have to hardcode any of the info like shown above. |

I set it up according to what this forum said to do (from above). Now, when I log onto www.myserver.org/forum/setup.asp I get nothing. All I get is a blank screen. I don't know what is wrong. | HuwR is right. If you're on GoDaddy, seems like you're on a Unix / Linux server, which does not support ASP. Either change to a Windows server or get a php based forum. |

| Looking at http://www.porterchapel.org/forum/default.asp which I assume is your forum homepage the ASP is not being parsed so either it is Linux / Unix which doesn't run ASP or it is Windows and ASP has been disabled. |

The server at the URL you posted identified itself as being Apache. Apache can be run in Windows, but to run ASP it would need Sun One ASP, which costs money and I'd wonder why would GoDaddy spend money to run ASP in a nix server when it could run it for "free" in one of their Windows servers. Frankly, I doubt that they'd ever do that.
There is no doubt that your current server cannot run an ASP version supporting VbScript (Apache can run Apache::ASP, but it doesn't serve any useful purpose I know of). |

| Yep, without question this is one to take back to your host and ask if they will either move you onto Windows hosting, or find yourself a php forum (eg phpBB) which will run on Apache on Linux smoothly |
