Hi Guys,

Sorry, tried posting in the SQL Server section, but it was locked.

Is there a script that allows me to turn off the encryption on the Password field within SQL?

using 3.4.05

No, it's encrypted for good reason - why do you want to remove the encryption?

(Can someone move this to a more appropriate forum)

I haven't figured out a way, in which a password can be recovered, if a user forgets/misplaces it.

It can't. The users need to click the Forgot Password link, near the login form, or you can reset it for them.
