Also, the following code should place somewhere on forum.asp or else?? <a href="active_users.asp">Active Users</a>: <%=strOnlineMembersCount%> Members and <%=strOnlineGuestsCount%> Guests
Here is my forum: http://66.34.122.120/test_a/default.asp Please take a look at it.

Put the small chunk of code in Statistics in default.asp.
For the big chunk of code place it directly under the <head/> tag in Inc_top.asp.

Hello, Could someone help me with this error message I am getting when I try to run active_users2.asp? Online Users Currently Browsing the Boards ()
ADODB.Recordset error '800a0bb9'
Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.
/forumtest/active_users2.asp, line 27
Actually I get the same kind of message when I try to run active_users2b.asp or active_users3.asp
:-(

also. under the Active users page: if a member's ip address changes constantly- it lists the more then once. with the different ip address for the same name.
is there a fix for this?

Trinity and riggz,
the code is to be added in default.asp
you can just open the default.asp and do a search with your editor for WriteStatistics to find the code in question.
I'm not sure about the multiple IP address problem. I've never really investigated it. I think it was redbrad0 who worked on the latest version of the Active Users MOD. |

Riggz,
do a search in this forum for a topic called ACK! User Listed 3 Times and look for the code posted by me on the last page.
Use that to replace the code already in your inc_top.
