I'm getting the follow in when trying to view the individual posts in a thread. The thread topics display fine.

The error:

Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0408'

Invalid character

/snitzforum/topic.asp, line 996

Response.Write(" <input type=""hidden"" name="TOPIC_ID"" value=""" & Request("TOPIC_ID") & """>" & vbNewLine)
----------------------------------------------^

This just started this morning on a forum that has been in use for a more than a year.

Thanks for any help or info.

Looks like someone edited that page. I guess it's just a matter of downloading the page, editing it and removing the character causing the issue.

You're missing a " before the TOPIC_ID indicated which could only have happened, as Rui said, if someone edited that file.

Thanks

Checked the file and there was a control charactor in place of the quote. Fixed it and everything is fine. What's wierd is that the file date was over a year old and I've never touched the file. It's worked fine for the last year. Thanks again.
