I have a private forum. I notice that the FAQ page is accessible by visitors, which is fine and supposed to be that way. My question is, would it be possible to make a specfic forum category public, whereas the rest are private?

As long as you have a public forum, the category will be shown, with that forum only, for non authorized visitors, of course.

You have them backwards texanman. Forums are within categories. So do you want everything in one category showing except the one private forum?
