My Snitz forums: http://thefeeb.net/forums
DB used: MySQL

Problem: When you try to create a new topic or reply to a topic the Agree / Cancel Privacy Statement screen pops up. If you hit Agree you got a "There has been a problem! You must post a message!" error. If you hit go back it takes you back to the Privacy Statement. However, you can Quick Reply to any existing topics with no problems. Logging in and out seems to be working fine as well.

What happened: Created these forums about 20 days ago and they have been very solid. I found a Private Message mod yesterday that I wanted to try to install. It didn't go well, so I backed out the changed asp pages (by recopying in the original Snitz files other than my altered config.asp). I re-ran the setup.asp as well b/c initialy logging in was not working after the refresh.

Now, I'm stumped. All we can do is Quick Reply to existing topics otherwise we get the Privacy Statement page. Any ideas? You can register for an account if you need one - email validation is currently disabled.

Editing an existing topic also brings upthe Privacy Statement page with this warning at the top:

Note: Only the poster of this message, and the Moderator can edit the message.

Makes me think there is some issue where logins are not being fully recognized.

We're going to need a test account if you want us to take a look.

If you have no other mods installed, upload a fresh copy of post.asp & inc_post_buttons.asp.

Ok, I will. I have no other mods installed. I'll let you know.
