I installed a fresh Snitz that I downloaded from SourceForge today because I noticed something odd.
I installed the forum and created the admin account. I did nothing else to the forum just started using it straight out of the box so to speak. I created another account with the user name of "test". Then I created a topic. Finally, when I went to edit the topic, I got this error:
Type mismatch: 'rs' /test/post.asp, line 642
So, I went to fiddling with it and found that the error was caused by line 623 of post.asp
MoveTopicAllowed = "0"
When I changed the 0 to a 1, then the error went away.
Nope, that wasn't the cause. This has been asked and addressed many, many, many times; you'll find the correct fix in the bug forums.
