I was wondering which symbols are allowed for password and username cause I tried to register my special username and strong password and I had no success. So if you answer my question I could get my password stronger.Thank you in advance.

The following characters are not permitted in usernames & passwords:

!#$%^&*()=+{}[]|\;:/?>,<'

You can change that by changing the Function IsValidString, in register.asp.

Yup, 25 for both, although there is no check on the maximum length of the username when processing the form, only a check to ensure it is 3 or more characters long. The 25 character limit for usernames is purely the maxlength of that particular input. Note, though that the M_USERNAME field can only hold 150 characters.

Only the characters I posted are not permitted in usernames & passwords.

I need to increase the maximum number of characters allowed in a user name. The input field only lets us put in 25. I have a user with a long name of 26 characters. Where can I change this setting. I looked in register.asp but can't find the 25 character limiter.

It's in inc_profile.asp.

Nope, as I said, that field in the database can hold 150 characters.
