A couple of different scenerios I have found to cause problems:
When editing a member it will use my NT username to confirm (NT Account:bcrown and only work if it's the same as my NT display name.
E.G.: You are logged on as Bob Crown (bcrown), Display Name (NTusername)
When deleting a username, it will use my NT display name and work all the time.
When posting or replying it does the same as editing a member, and not work, unless my display name is my username bcrown(bcrown)
All this might be a bit confusing but the jist of it is, the system is using the wrong user name sometimes when using NT auth, but other times it will succeed.
Also, when attempting to post using a automatically logged in
When user name and display name are the same, works great either way. |
