Recently we've been getting posts from members that are complete spam, porn, gambling, viagra etc...

These were not done by the actual members. Having the members change their passwords did not fix the problem either.

Is this a none issue? I've tried searching, but am probably not using the right queries....

How can that be? Does that mean that your users can be impersonated?
You should get a look at your server logs to see how that is done! Something is very wrong with that!

Steve, are these 'not real members' in that they signed up using forumtool or something similarly unpleasant, but are not proper participants in the forum?

Wasn't there an issue with PWKEY not being sanitized properly (or some other spoofing issue) in 3.4.03?
