You don't have CDONTS on your system. Try using one of the other email components.

Under Select E-mail Component:

CDOSYS (IIS5/5.1/6) is available only.

Line 97 is for CDONTS not CDOSYS.

Unless you made changes to inc_mail.asp.

In my other program, I am using this :

Set myMail=CreateObject("CDO.Message")
Set objCDOSYSCon = Server.CreateObject ("CDO.Configuration")

In inc_mail, its

case "cdonts"
Set objNewMail = Server.CreateObject ("CDONTS.NewMail")
objNewMail.BodyFormat = 1
objNewMail.MailFormat = 0

How to use CDO ?

case "cdosys"
Set iConf = Server.CreateObject ("CDO.Configuration")

Under Select E-mail Component:

CDOSYS (IIS5/5.1/6) is available only.

CDONTS and CDOSYS are not the same.

This is CDOSYS
Set myMail=CreateObject("CDO.Message")
Set objCDOSYSCon = Server.CreateObject ("CDO.Configuration")

This code for CDONTS (which you don't have on your server)
case "cdonts"
Set objNewMail = Server.CreateObject ("CDONTS.NewMail")
objNewMail.BodyFormat = 1
objNewMail.MailFormat = 0

If you have CDOSYS selected in your email server config you should not be getting an error at line 97.

Where is your forum ?

What does it say for strMailMode on this page ?

http://www.ulcindia.com/forum/admin_variable_info.asp

If it does not say CDOSYS can you reload the application variables by running setup.asp or restart IIS.

Going to your email server config page and clicking submit should update the database with the correct mail component.

Can you ask your host to restart IIS ?

"Going to your email server config page and clicking submit should update the database with the correct mail component." trick worked.

Thanks a lot.
