I have the PM MOD (v 3.5.05) running on forum (v 3.4.06) and in the admin options the PM's are turned on.
Is there a way of Admins to disallow PM's for certain members without going into the DB (MS SQL 2000) and changing the M_PMRECEIVE coloumn value in the FORUM_MEMBERS table, manually??

As far as I know, there's no way to do this with the MOD as it is "out of the box". However, it does seem like something that would be useful. You could either do what you're talking about and change the values in the DB on a member-by-member basis or write up an add-on to the MOD that allows admins to change a user's options for PMs.

Why? It's completely unrelated to what Thermal was asking - please start a new topic for your query.
