I have approximately 600 members on my forum and find that when a posting is done, not all users get the email notification. It appears that the notifications go to members to a certain point in the list and the rest do not get notified.
I'm wondering if there is a limit to the number of members that I'm not aware of. No matter how many time I move members to the 'selected' area of the forum, some drop off.
Recently I've set up a new category and forum, with only half a dozen users. Four are internal to our company/network and 2 are external. All are subscribed but only the internal members get email.
Very frustrating and hoping to find a solution. Could one of the members have a corrupt file?
It is fairly common practice to restrict the number of emails that can be delivered at once so definitely worth talking to your hosts and seeing if they have any such limitation in place as recommended by sdguy.
Have you tried using other components to send the email, which one are you currently using in your settings? (it could be a time-out issue, some mail COMs are arguably better than others, I prefer using JMail myself).

Is that only happening on that particular forum or is it happening for all subscriptions? What about the other e-mail features of your forum?
Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.”
Thanks so much for the feedback. I'm going to check on the email limitations here first. Presently using JMail3.x setting. Seems to happen for all the forums.
Happy to say problem with the email notifications is solved. Turned out to be a network issue that cropped up in the last few weeks. Thanks for the helpful replies.
