Hi,

I am using 3.4.05 and recently switch from Access to SQL Server. After data converting, I noticed the uder post number stop updating. I have a copy of forum setup in my local computer with old Access database from previous hosting space abd it worked as before.

Since I also moved from one hosting company to another, though I do not feel it's related. I searched this forum but no information related to what I am experience with. Woudl you like to share some information with me?

Thanks.

I'd say that is a result of the conversion strategy used. Did you use setup.asp to create the tables in the database?

Check that "Increase Post Count:" for each of the forums is set to yes.

Yes, I read those posts and your advice and use setup.asp to create base tables. Then use MOD installation to create extra tables.

Before I started data transfer, I did see those index and constrains created by the setup.asp.

You mean in the ASP page? Since I did not find any options I could change in admin pages.

Thanks.

Does that happen with all the users?

Well the first obvious suggestion is the one done by RArch: check each forum properties (by editing them), to make sure each is set to Increase Post Count.
