Is there a file or script/page that anyone knows of that I can upload that can detail the server stats for a shared server platform running .net. I want to check which versions of asp .net are running etc
I know its easy to check using php but didnt know if there was an easy way to do it with asp?
I'm sure there is. I know for classic ASP there was a bit of VBScript you could use to get the version of the scripting engine. I had added this little bit (with a little extra to add it to the tables etc.):
But that's for Classic ASP/VBScript. I'm sure if you dig a little you can find something similar to find what versions of the .NET Framework are running on the server.
Asking your host would be the easiest - but its always nice to be certain.
