We have setup Snitz Forums for a specific group of our customers. For security purposes I registered each of the users and then sent them their usernames with temporary passwords. One of our users has been receiving a page cannot be displayed error when he clicks on the link to the site, so he can't get in at all.
Other users have been able to access the forum and sign on...so I know the link I gave him is good.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is might happen?

weird. probably his local machine/network.

Get him to try another machine, it'll probably work then, so it's not your problem from that point on.

If the link was in an email, though, and it was a loooong link which wrapped lines, he may just be a non-technical user not understanding that you need to paste the whole thing into a browser, so missing the last bit of the quesrystring/url. If so, make a tinyurl.com for him and try that

Yeah, I figure it was his network/local computer. I had them check to see if there was any port blocking and there was not.

I'm having him check to see if he can access from a different computer and then from a computer outside his network.

Yep - and try that tinyurl trick as a tester, make sure it's not a 'hard of thinking' issue!

(AKA a PEBCAK issue...'Problem exists between chair and keyboard')

Well I'm still not really sure what the problem was. He wrote me after asking him to check from someone else's computer and he said he could finally get in from his. I have a feeling there was something in his network. But at least he's in. Thanks for your help.
